BRIWAX
FURNITURE OIL is especially effective on Oak, and unfinished
hardwoods but just as appropriate for all types of wood, whether
it be Pine, Walnut, Teak, Sycamore or Mahogany.
Furniture
Oil offers the craftsman, furniture maker, and decorator an
oil alternative to hard wax paste in finishing situations.
It can be used on ceiling timbers, skirting, stripped doors,
and most unfinished surfaces. It is especially recommended
for use on new wood, both as 'preparation' before waxing or
as a complete finish. It is not recommended for floors or
areas where heavy duty wear and tear is likely.
- Easy to apply, either by soft brush, sponge
applicator or rag
- Quick drying
- Marginal darkening of the wood
- Replaces 'lost' oils in the timber
- Helps to retard 'drying' of the timber which
cause grain splits
- Natural, matt finish
- Available in 500ml & 1 litre
To obtain the best 'silky
feel' to the timber, two or three coats can be applied. Furniture
oil dries to a matt finish so it can be over-waxed to give
improved top coat shine. |
